Token from the Café Belgo-Luxembourgeois at 2, rue de l'industrie, Rodange. On July 1, 1933, Mathias Aloyse Osch took over the Frescura café-restaurant, which his father had purchased shortly before. The establishment will now be known as Café Belgo-Luxembourgeois (LW 1/07/1933).
Mr. Osch occupied the premises until May 1, 1945.
During this period, Mr. Osch had two types of triangular tokens minted.
According to R. Weiller's typology, the present token is number 53, minted with a few exceptions between 1948 and 1965.
The Café Belgo-Luxembourgeois token appears to be one of these exceptions, as it was minted before 1945.
