Comment

Editions Rombaldi was a now-defunct French publishing house founded by Toussaint Rombaldi (1885-1938).

Born in Paris in 1773, Louis-Philippe was the eldest son of Louis-Philippe Joseph, Duc d'Orléans (Philippe-Égalité), guillotined in 1793 for corruption after voting for the death of his cousin Louis XVI. He successively bore the titles of Duc de Valois, Duc de Chartres and, from 1793, Duc d'Orléans.
