Token for the Wiltz leather factory and tannery known as IDEAL (=Idealleder).
The company existed between 1912 and 1961. At its peak in the 1930s, the Wiltz tannery employed around 1,000 workers and exported to 60 different countries.

In 1961, a large part of the buildings fell victim to fire. A floor-covering company then moved in. Today, the state is building just over 1,000 homes to combat the shortage of affordable housing.

Token used to control and classify leather according to quality. The tannery has issued at least 13 different control tokens. Of these, two are listed in R. Weiller's second book and one in neither.
