Comment

Prague Castle - an ancient symbol of the Czech State, the most significant Czech monument and one of the most important cultural institutions in the Czech Republic.

The Zvon Zikmund from 1549 from the Cathedral of St Vitus, Wenceslas and Vojtěch at the Prague Castle was made by the bell tower Tomáš Jaroš from Brno in Prague. It is the largest Czech bell with a lower diameter of 256 cm, a height of 203 cm and an estimated weight of 16.5 tons [1] (for example, the Czech bellman Petr Rudolf Manoušek estimates the weight at 13 to 14 tons [2]). The bell is richly decorated, some elements of decoration in the Czech environment have been seen on Zikmund for the first time.
