Comment
This token is struck by Pichard Balme in Saumur, a subsidiary of Arthus Bertrand since its takeover in 1999.
The Port Caledonia was a 4-masted steel barque launched in Glasgow in 1892. She sank in December 1924 on the Antioche rock in Oléron. A signal tower went into operation the following year. The wreck was located in 2011 and the bell reassembled the following year.
