Comment

"The city of Arona, on the Piedmontese shore of Lake Maggiore in the diocese and province of Novara, celebrates two pairs of martyrs as its patron saints: Graziano and Felino, Carpoforo and Fedele. They are still the protagonists of the famous Tredicino festival, which takes place annually on the shores of the lake in March. The origin of the festival, which occurs properly on the 13th of the month, hence the popular name of thirteen, is connected to the presence in Arona of the relics of the four saints,"
