The coin was minted for the vending machine companies to test out the new shape. The companies were supposed to return the trial coins by the end of 2017.The replicas available online doesn't have the tiny "One Pound" text written on the edges.
Original coin is extremely rare and hard to obtain, so for now the photos of replica are added.
