This medal is part of a luxury 999 silver medal series issued with a total of 4,000 in 1983 by the now defunct Portuguese and Oporto based bank Banco Pinto & Sotto Mayor and which includes 5 further traditional silver proof medals of 40 mm diameter, 999 silver and 30 grs of weight, each by different designers and a single stamped and then hand finished, 8 cm wide medal.
