This is a special New year token. It is used in tradition to bake a coin in a cake during New year holidays. It has gold color and images similar to a gold sovereign - the common gold coin in Cyprus.The alignment of the token on photo is 135° counterclockwise, that is not exactly coin alignment.
The tokens differ in style: there are of different level of rude work, with thinner of thicker letters in legend, with different mass (4.2 g is known). The differences from the sovereign are made on purpose, to help people distinguish the token from a coin easy.
