Comment
The Diaspora House was established on the Tel Aviv University campus and inaugurated on May 15, 1978, as one of the events commemorating the thirtieth anniversary of Israel's independence. A permanent display, on the three floors of the museum, is based on six central themes: the family, the community, faith, culture, relations with the foreign world, the return of Zion. While the goal of the Diaspora House is to commemorate the life work of the diaspora, it also gives a powerful expression to the memory of Jewish martyrology in fifty-two illustrated scrolls, each of which is dedicated to a chapter of the persecution of the Jews. The House of Diaspora is also a center for extensive cultural activity, and a center for research and study.Price
