The Sancy cable car is an easy and friendly way to discover the highest peak in the Massif Central, departing from Mont-Dore station. After a dizzying ascent with the cable car (more than 450 m covered in 4 minutes!), the ascent continues for about 20 minutes on a wooden staircase to the 1886 m of Puy de Sancy. Welcome to the roof of the Auvergne!
