The church was built between 1430 and 1480 by the Lords of Nevet, with donations from the Dukes of Brittany Jean V, Pierre II and François II. It stands on the site of the priory chapel belonging to the Sainte-Croix de Quimperlé abbey. Its spire, struck by lightning three times, was finally demolished in 1808. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C3%89glise_Saint-Ronan_de_LocronanPrice
