This token represents the road that leads to "La Porte de Soissons" of Coucy le Château. Tower of the Porte de Soissons.
Built in the 13th century (around 1221), this cylindrical tower is part of the Porte de Soissons defending the entrance to the town by the steep path of the Etrelles mountain. The gate itself was ruined in 1917 and was partially restored in 2009. The tower houses a museum.
Guard tower of the gate of Soissons, dating from the 13th century, 2 levels of exhibition with large models of the city and the keep before the destruction in 1917, engravings, costumes, photos, weapons and a panoramic terrace.
