Summer 1951. Paul Corteville, a worker by trade, befriends Mr. Blin, a blind man from Hazebrouck. He then realizes how lonely it is to be blind. Having heard about dog training experiments in Germany and the United States, Paul Corteville, who loves and knows dogs well, made inquiries. But to no avail. No matter, a few weeks later, Dicky became his first student. With her, he began what was to become his life's work and passion and developed his own technique for training guide dogs. After Dicky, Paul Corteville continued the work. With his small means, he chose dogs from the SPA (their look and size were his main criteria, he was very rarely mistaken). And in 1958, the Association of Guide Dogs for the Blind was born from this true passion.Price
