This medal celebrates the 10th anniversary of the adoption of the Law of Ukraine On the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine. The NABU is a central executive body with a special status. It was created to prevent, detect, stop, investigate and solve corruption cases that pose a threat to national security. Since its inception, this institution has uncovered numerous cases of bribery, embezzlement of state property and illicit enrichment among high-ranking officials. This medal symbolizes the NABU’s achievements in its fight against grand corruption, as well as the contribution of this law enforcement agency to shaping the future of Ukraine as part of the European community.
