Queen Wilhelmina was coronated in 1898 as Queen of the Netherlands. On this occasion the PTT Post issued the first stamp in honor of this special event (the Coronation Stamp).
Hundred years later, the PTT Post, in collaboration with the Dutch Mint, published this medal with an image of the Coronation stamp.
