SAVINGS: The savings banks, invented in the eighteenth century, were born in the nineteenth century with the Industrial Revolution and, following generous ideas of savings protection of employees and make them productive economies while putting them at the service of Nation. The first savings and provident fund was created in Paris in 1818 and this example is followed by province between 1819 and 1823 in Bordeaux, Rouen, Marseille, Nantes, Brest, Metz, Le Havre, Lyon, Troyes, Reims, etc. .
