One year after Uderzo's death, the Monnaie de Paris has decided to pay tribute to the creator and illustrator of the most famous Gaul: Asterix.The year 2021 also marks the release of a new album in the saga: "Asterix and the Griffin", available from October 21. In this new adventure, the two Gauls and their druid Panoramix set off on a long and mysterious journey in search of a strange and terrifying creature.
This silver-colored mini-medal marks the launch of the 39th album in Asterix's adventures: Asterix and the Griffin. The face shows Asterix and Obelix trying to retrieve Dogmatix, perched on a disturbing creature.
