Henry Law was a baker at 187 Canal Street from 1834 to 1838 and then moved to 558 Greenwich in 1840 per Longworth’s New York City directories of those years. HT-286 is R-2 with 501-1250 known. Most have weakly struck legends and high-grade examples are uncommon.
