Comment

HT-425 is one of six Hard Times Tokens with the obverse engraving of the Marquis de Lafayette by Edward Hulseman (H), based on the 1822 painting by Ary Scheffer. There are also two from Massachusetts (HT-150 and HT-174) and three from New York (HT-217, HT-218, and HT-361).

Clark & Anthony sold other items in addition to jewelry and watches.
