Silver token to celebrate Honorary Citizen Mr. Gerard Walschap at the city of Londerzeel.

Born on July 9, 1898 in Londerzeel and died on October 25, 1989 in Antwerp, was a Dutch-speaking Belgian writer.

He wrote plays and essays, but above all children's stories, short stories and novels.

This token could be purchased at the city hall anno 1982 and had a value of 1.500 Francs at the time.

These Silver minted variations, unlike Municipal Trading tokens, mostly ended up in private collections.
