Paul Charles Strœhlin lists 2000 examples in bronze. This medal was engraved by Georges Hantz in Geneva and struck by the Usine de dégrossissage d'or in the same city. It is the official medal of this event (Revue Suisse de Numismatique, Volume 8, 1898, p.344).
