This coin may be a trial strike, a limited issue, a special use issue, and even a fantasy. It does appear to have been circulated. Plus the only other variety of this coin sold on eBay possibly a few years ago, the buyer won it for $88.Because this coin and the one other have been the only discoveries within several years, the possibility of it being a fantasy seems unlikely; while the possibility of it having been a limited issue seems to be the most plausible.
