Comment
President Belzu held an Extraordinary Congress in the city of Oruro, in said event he renounced the Presidency presenting the Presidential Insignia to Congress. On February 7, 1855, by Law of the same date, Congress rejects the resignation, making return of the Presidential Medal to Belzu, who would conclude its Constitutional mandate.
This event was commemorated with the minting of a 2 Soles Court Coin Medal.
