On August 6, 1855, the National Congress met in Sucre, proclaims Constitutional President General Jorge Córdova, winner of the elections summoned by Belzu.
This event was called “Legal Transmission”, first since the founding of the Republic, and immortalized in Medals Court coin of 2 Soles and 1 Sol.
