""HAWAII STATE NUMISMATIC ASSOCIATION " appears on all medals on obverse or reverse. Struck for annual convention.Issued yearly since 1964 except 1977, with issue dates except 1976. Numbered silver and bronze set of two were issued in
1964 and 1965 and un-numbered sets thereafter. Offered for sale to members and the public. All bronze and silver medals
plain edged, about 39 mm diameter. One aluminum medal awarded to each HSNA dealer member at the annual coin show
except 1964 (plain edge except for reeded edge 1984 aluminum). 1964 to 1987 medals portray royalty, rulers and dignitaries.
From 1988 on various eight island scenes will be portrayed. From 1978 on, medals were struck in .999 fine silver. "
