Ivanhoe Restaurant opened in 1920. During prohibition it was a speakeasy. After prohibition it turned into a theme restaurant. A theater was added in the mid 60's and remained this way until it closed in 2001 and opened as a Binny's and still is. One of Chicago's landmark buildings, The Ivanhoe Castle.
