Gladys Rongey was dedicated to the arts. She taught and called square dancing throughout the region, tutored actors in her home and volunteered with several community theater productions in the county, including productions in Chula Vista, Coronado and La Mesa.Mrs. Rongey died Dec. 17, 2012 at the age of 88
