This is a token of the socialist consumer organization (or cooperative) Vooruit (Forward) (1880-1970) which was founded as a cooperative bakery to protect the factory workers against the instability of big capital. It is listed as #90 in the catalog “Het huisgeld van de Gentse S.M.
