L'ouvrage de Sainte-Agnès :
Overlooking the Bay of Menton and dug deep into the cliff, it was part of the Maginot Line and built into the mountain between 1932 and 1936. It covers an area of 2,000 m2 and could house 300 to 400 troops for three months in complete self-sufficiency. The fort housed a very powerful and well-preserved artillery system. https://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sainte-Agn%C3%A8s_(Alpes-Maritimes)
