The foundation 'Winterhulp' was established in 1940 by the German "Rijkskommissariat" with the aim of providing aid to needy Dutch people.
In reality, this foundation served to carry out propaganda for National Socialism, following the example of the 'German Winterhilfe'.
Series of pins were issued for the street collections of Winterhulp Nederland (WHN).
The collection of November 1941 was dedicated to well-known buildings in the Netherlands.
For this collection, 14 terracotta discs with a pin on the back were issued. (A pin was never attached to this copy).
Produced at : Brouwer's Aardewerk, Leiderdorp or at : Goedewaagen, Gouda.
