Whistl'n Pig Coffee Shop, 818 SW Broadway 1940'sWhistl'n Pig Coffee Shop was a non union shop. The Waitresses and cafateria woman's union pickited the bussiness for over a year. The owners applied for an injunction to get the pickingting stopped. Judge ruled it was a form of freedom of speeh and that no injunction would be granted. He did state that as long as no emplyees were on the picket lines and that pickiters did not incite any force or vialence there was nothing the owner or the judge could do against those stiking the shop.
