The Luna Park that this token refers to is at Scarborough, North Yorkshire., UK. George Thomas Tuby and his wife started out with an arcade. They later expanded with becoming the owner's of Tuby's Luna Park. Luna Park is a name shared by dozens of currently operating and defunct amusement parks. They are named after, and partly based on, the first Luna Park, which opened in 1903 during the heyday of large Coney Island parks. Luna parks are small-scale attraction parks, easily accessed, potentially addressed to the permanent or temporary residential market, and located in the suburbs or even near the town centers.
View of the park. It is believed these tokens were produced in the 1960s or 1970s. I could not confirm this information.
