Thomas Leonard Wells was a politician in Ontario, Canada. He served in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario as a member of the Progressive Conservative Party from 1963 to 1985. He was re-elected in 1967, 71, 75, 77 and 81. He was appointed as Minister of Education in 1972 and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs in 1978. Most likely this token was one given out during one of his re-elections from 1971, 1975 or 1977.
