Bar mitzvah - a term used in Judaism to describe a Jewish boy's attainment of religious coming of age.P"A 5.24 - Pirkei Avot 5.24 - Mishnah treatise containing the moral and ethical code of Judaism.
The small letter "כ" on the obverse, at the bottom of the bimah means that the token is made of silver, since the letter "כ" is the first letter in the word "כסף" which translates as silver, as well as money.
Originally, tokens were minted without the letter "כ" but due to more counterfeiting mints added "כ" as these tokens began to be gold plated and sold as a full gold token.
The inscription "תשכ"א כב -1961" in small print, lower right near the edge.
