Čachtice Castle is a ruined castle located in Slovakia near the village of Čachtice. It overlooks a hill offering, among other things, rare plants, and for this reason has been declared a national nature reserve. The castle was the residence and prison of Countess Elisabeth Báthory, suspected of being the most prolific female serial killer of all time.(Source : www.wikipedia.org)
