Comment

In 1654, Louis XIV was crowned in Reims. This event is signified by the coronation mantle under the arms of Burgundy. The armies also won brilliant victories (Stenay was taken by Fabert, Turenne delivered Arras, won at Landrecies, etc.) which is recalled in the reverse.
