This token was called a "RecycleMunt" in Dutch, which translates to “RecycleCoin”

It was introduced by the Saxion University of Applied Sciences, which is located in Enschede, Deventer & Apeldoorn in The Netherlands, during the Students Introduction Week in 2023, which lasted from Monday the 28th of August 2023 until Thursday the 31st of August 2023.

If you had registered for the general INTRO, you could receive one single “RecycleCoin”

During the activities or concerts that were held during the Introduction Week you could buy your own refreshments at several locations on the site.

You could receive one of these “RecycleCoins” as they introduced something that was called the “Deposit Coin Scheme: RecycleCoin”

During the INTRO, you would use reusable cups. Which means that there is a deposit coin scheme to follow.

How does it work? 
 

1. Upon registration, you will receive a “RecycleCoin” from us free of charge. 
2. When you hand in this “RecycleCoin” at the bar, you would receive a cup. 
3. Return your empty cup to the bar and each time you would get a new drink. Enough with the drinks? Return in your cup for a deposit coin. Keep it safe and return it when you would want to order your next drink. 
4. If lost, you pay 1 euro for a new cup/recycle coin.
