Used as a counter token by Saulsbury Bros. Inc. A vegetable growing and packing company. They started in as early as 1888, with a store front selling vegetables and dry goods open only during season. First were called A,G, Saulsbury & Bros., incorporating later. Selling the store in 1911 the went into the cannery business which evolved into a vegetable freezing operation. They sold the frozen Vegetable plant in 2001 to Hanover Foods which continued operations at the plant. These tokens in denominations of 2, 2 ½ and 5 in aluminium and brass, also in round and square shapes.
