The Royal Mail Steam Packet Company was a British company set up in London by a Scot, James MacQueen in 1839 by Royal Charter of Queen Victoria to Carry her mails twice monthly to Barbados and the West Indies. The company became the largest shipping firm in the world by 1927. They had an office in Castries, Saint Lucia. Token issued Circa 1885.
