The 1889 Exposition Universelle was a world's fair held in Paris, France, from May 5 to October 31, 1889. It was the fourth of eight exhibitions held in the city between 1855 and 1937. It attracted over thirty-two million visitors. The most famous structure created for the Exhibition, and still standing, is the Eiffel Tower. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposition_Universelle_(1889)
