Comment
A set of tokens used by BCC on the introduction of all day parking meters for regulation control in 2 or 4 hour parking locations in 1965. The parking meters were not mechanical and relied on the parker entering the necessary coins which were visable in a plastic tube in the meter. These coloured tokens were entered by the parking inspector on top of the payment coins to show that the inspector had noted that payment was made and to ensure that the next parking space user had to pay.
This was the second series issued.
