Token was used as truck system wage token in 19th century Habsburg Austria, in region of Ruše in modern day Slovenia. One token was issued to the worker for every 10 hours of picking hops (hop as a plant for making beer). Workers were saving these tokens till the end of the year on a wire or a string, when the landlords payed out the total amount earned that year, based on number of tokens received.
