Comment

It can be assumed that a poor person was offered a token on the day of almsgiving, and then went directly to the cashier, who then exchanged it for money. The signs must have been in use for at least 43 years, as in 1744 a new issue of token was made, which does not exclude that the 1701 tokens have continued to be used.
