Comment

Léonard Joubert du Collet was a lawyer in Paris, then a merchant in Nantes. He became consul, then judge and commander of a company of coastguard cannoneers. He then became alderman, sub-mayor and, finally, mayor and colonel of the bourgeois militia on June 7, 1762. His arms bear Argent, a chevron Azure charged with five helmets Or, accompanied in chief by a vol séparé Gules, and in base by a rock Sable.
