François Libault was a squire, sieur de Beaulieu, councillor and secretary to the king, and colonel of the bourgeois militia. He was mayor from 1766 to 1770. His arms bear argent, six fleurs-de-lis gules, three, two and one, on a chief gules, three spearheads argent.
