Maryland Student Union was renamed Stamp Student Union in 1988 after Adele H. Stamp, who became the first Dean of Women in 1920. 1920 is also the same year the Maryland Student Union picked the Agricultural Publications Annex as its first long-term meeting location. The first official building was completed in 1954.
