At least two models exist for this token.The oldest, this one, dates from 1830 to 1845 and bears the words MANUFACTURE ROYALE DE ST GOBAIN.
The other model dates from 1866, the year St Gobain bought a sulfuric acid factory, and bears the inscription MANUFACTURE DE SAINT GOBAIN CHAUNY ET CIREY.
