MARIE - THÉRÈSE D'AUTRICHE: Maria Theresa (1638-1683) was the daughter of Philip IV of Spain and Elisabeth of France, the daughter of Henry IV and Marie de Medici. She was born in 1638, like her cousin the King, to whom she was betrothed to the outcome of the Treaty of the Pyrenees of 7 November 1659. She married June 9, 1660 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and had six children , only one survived, Louis, the Grand Dauphin (1661-1711). She died on July 30, 1683. Louis XIV secretly married his second wife with the Marquise de Maintenon in 1683 (1638-1719).
