MARIE - THERESE OF AUSTRIA
Maria Theresa (1638-1683) is the daughter of Philip IV of Spain and Elizabeth of France, daughter of Henri IV and Marie de Medici. She was born in 1638, like her cousin the King, to whom she was engaged after the Treaty of the Pyrenees of 7 November 1659. She married June 9, 1660 in Saint-Jean-de-Luz and had six children, only one survived, Louis, the Grand Dauphin (1661-1711). She died July 30, 1683. Louis XIV secretly remarried his second wife, Madame de Maintenon in 1683 (1638-1719).

Obverse: Busts facing of the King and Queen, like Guéant Prieur 486C
